Using Traffic GH

By using the app or website you agree to these terms.

Independent, not official

Traffic GH is an independent app and website. It is not affiliated with the Ghana Police Service, MTTD, TRAFFITECH-GH, DVLA, NIB or NIC. Links to official services are provided for convenience. Official decisions about fines, appeals and documents are made only by the relevant authorities.

Information is guidance

Road-rule summaries, penalties, speed limits, phone numbers and short codes are general guidance checked against public sources on the date shown, and may change. Confirm with the official channel. Speed limits marked “estimated” are defaults for the type of road: a posted sign always applies.

Community reports

Road reports come from drivers and are not official. Cameras can be mobile, so always drive within the limit. Do not report while driving; ask a passenger. False or abusive reports may be removed and accounts suspended.

No payments

Traffic GH never collects card or mobile money details and never processes fine payments.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from relying on information in the app or website.
